Wind Garden Competition (Registration Closed)

Wind gardens are a popular attraction found in kite festivals throughout Europe. A wind garden can comprise of objects like wind sculptors, garden spinners, decorative flags, twisters and even sound-generating objects which are motioned by the wind. These objects are placed in abundance on a plot of land, to add a vibrancy of colours and motion to the festival.

Visitors to the Marina Barrage will be able to see these colourful and graceful kinetic installations in motion.

Come see displays of these colourful objects, done by Primary and Secondary school students. See how they have made recycled materials into works of art and watch these items dance and spin, with the motion of the wind.
